Terms of Use

GENERAL

Bulkbazaar is designed to provide a meeting platform for suppliers and members to carry out bulk offer trades. The use of the website is governed by the Terms of Use published herein.
By accessing, reading and/or posting on the website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please DO NOT use, access, read and/or post messages on the website and kindly exit from this site if you do not agree to be bound by the Terms of Use. The Terms of Use can be modified by Bulkbazaar at any time and the revised Terms of Use will be posted herein. Your continued use of the website after these amendments constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms of Use.

Definitions

“Suppliers” means the persons or corporations who have registered with Bulkbazaar as a supplier and submitted postings for sale of products through bulk offer.

“Members” means the persons or corporations who have registered with Bulkbazaar as a member, including but not limited to members who have place their orders through the website.

"Users" means the persons who use the website, including but not limited to those Users who have provided registration information to Bulkbazaar and Users authorised by their corporations to use the Website on their behalf, and "User" shall mean any one of them.

“Bulk Offer” means the sales offer posted on Bulkbazaar by the suppliers. This includes, but is not limited to bulk purchase offers. Suppliers can post without a MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity).

Disclaimer

1. The sole purpose of this website is to provide the intended information to the general public. The contents and materials of this website are provided on an "as is" basis. Bulkbazaar do not guarantee the validity of such information and will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages. Bulkbazaar and the administrators of this site accept no responsibility for any losses, monetary or otherwise, incurred as a result of reliance whatsoever of such information.
2. Bulkbazaar respects the privacy of the site Users. However, Bulkbazaar reserves the right to disclose any personal information when required by law, lawful government requests and good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process and Bulkbazaar shall not be liable to the User(s) for any cost, claim, liability, expense, demand or damages whatsoever (including loss of profits, lost savings, direct, indirect, special, incidental or punitive losses or consequential damages arising out of the disclosure of such information). Bulkbazaar may, from time to time, send the User further information (by post, email, fax or otherwise) relating to products or services, which Bulkbazaar feels may be of interest to the User. The User may notify Bulkbazaar at any time if the User wishes to cease receiving this further information.
3. Given the real-time nature of the website, it is impossible for Bulkbazaar to pre-edit, review, screen or confirm the validity of the Bulk Offers. Bulkbazaar is NOT responsible for the content, reliability, accuracy and/or completeness of any of the Bulk Offers nor does it endorse the same. In particular,
   1. Bulkbazaar does not review, screen or edit messages posted on the website by Users. Nevertheless, Bulkbazaar reserves the right to monitor, modify and/or remove any messages posted on the Website at any time, without notice, in its sole discretion. Whether or not we modify or remove such information, Users remain solely responsible for the content of their postings.
   2. Users must understand that messages posted on the website may prove to be, either intentionally or unintentionally, untrue, misleading, deceptive and/or wrong. It is important for Users to exercise discretion and caution as well as to carry out independent investigations before making any decisions based on the posted information on the website. Users who rely on the posted information do so solely at their own risks.

Terms for Everyone

1. Interference or attempted interference with Bulkbazaar's site and/or operations using any software program, routine or activity is a serious offense and is not permitted.
2. Suppliers or Members using the Bulkbazaar site may only modify or add content in those areas specifically designated for suppliers or members use. All content must also abide by all other Bulkbazaar policies.
3. In no case may a user block, obscure, overwrite or modify any Bulkbazaar-generated content or pages. All other site locations or components of Bulkbazaar pages are strictly for Bulkbazaar use.
4. Offers to buy or sell listed items outside of the Bulkbazaar site are not permitted. Some examples of offers outside of the Bulkbazaar site include using member contact information obtained from Bulkbazaar or using any Bulkbazaar system to offer to sell any listed item outside of Bulkbazaar.
5. Unless otherwise stated, all amounts quoted on Bulkbazaar are in Singapore Dollars, SGD.

Terms for Suppliers

1. Suppliers must honour the bulk purchase contract once the MOQ has been met unless items ordered are no longer available after the bulk offer is closed for which Bulkbazaar will refund all payments that had been received from members who places their orders.
2. Items must be delivered within the waiting time indicated in the Bulk Offer listing page.
3. Suppliers must not significantly misrepresent an item by not meeting the terms and item description as outlined in the listing. For listing of food or other perishables, expiry dates should be indicated in the item description.
4. Suppliers may not list items that are generally prohibited by international laws.
5. Bulkbazaar does not allow the use of profanity or patently vulgar language in a public area of the site. This includes the use of language that is racist, hateful, sexual or obscene in nature.
6. Bulkbazaar will permit media titles and descriptions (such as a CD name and track list) that contain profanity on. This profanity is only permitted if the original production company title or description contains the profane terms. All other profanity is prohibited. This exception applies to media items and does not apply to any other items.
7. Any copyright photo/letter/idea is owned by the suppliers and is not exclusive, so you can continue to use the material in anyway including allowing others to use it. By sending it to Bulkbazaar you agree to grant us permission to use the material how we want (including modifying, editing, putting into production and adapting for promotional and editorial reasons) we may also share your contribution with trusted third parties. You confirm that your contribution is your own original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any international laws. Please do not endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary risk or break any laws when creating your contribution.
8. Suppliers may add a reasonable postage/delivery fees to the final price of the item, but may not charge excessive postage/delivery fees, excessive required insurance fees, or excessive (or not applicable) taxes in an effort to make the item appear artificially inexpensive, to avoid Bulkbazaar fees, or for any other purposes. Postage/delivery and handling fees may cover the seller's reasonable costs for mailing and packaging the item. Postage/delivery fees may not be listed as a percentage of the final sale price.
9. Bulkbazaar allows suppliers to place only certain types of links within an item description. A link is any mechanism used to take a member off the Bulkbazaar site, whether static or clickable. This applies to any format used for a link that includes but is not limited to, text, images, logos or icons.

Permitted links include:

• One link to a page that further describes the item being sold in that listing
• Links to photos of the item for sale
• Links to your other Bulkbazaar listings
• Links that provide credits to third parties
10. Violations of these policies may result in a range of actions, including:
• Bulk offer listing cancellation
• Account suspension
• Forfeit of Bulkbazaar fees on cancelled listings

Bulkbazaar fees

11. Bulkbazaar fees are listed as below:
    
    

    Listing fee	SGD $2 per bulk offer
    Bulk sales fee	2% of total sale value (excl. postage/delivery fees)

    Fees may be revised at the sole discretion of Bulkbazaar. Promotional fees may also be offered for selected periods or to selected suppliers.
12. Bulkbazaar will release payment after deducting any relevant fees to suppliers once delivery has been made to all buyers for a bulk offer. This will typically be 7 days AFTER the waiting period as stated by the suppliers. This is to ensure that all buyers have received their purchases. Payments will be delayed should any buyers raise concerns on the receipt of their purchases. Bulkbazaar will release payment once delivery has been satisfied. Concerns other than delivery, for eg. defective good(s) will have to be dealt with by the suppliers based on the return policy stated in the bulk offer listing.
    

Terms for Members

1. Members must make payment after placing an order to purchase an item(s). The mode of payment on Bulkbazaar is solely through electronic transfers. Members have to indicate the name of the bulk offer that they are paying for when performing the transfer. Members must indicate the bank transaction code at “My Bulk Orders” page after transfers have been made to facilitate matching of the receipt. Failure to do so may result in delays in order processing.
2. Only paid orders are considered as orders for assessment of MOQ status.
3. Members may not place orders with no serious intention to make payment for their purchases.
4. Members may only edit or withdraw their orders if their order status is UNPAID. The order status is updated by Bulkbazaar when payment has been received in the bank account stated in Bulkbazaar's website.
5. Members may not contact a supplier and offer to purchase a listed item outside of Bulkbazaar.
6. Members are not permitted to email buyers in an open or completed transaction to warn them away from a supplier or item. If you have a problem with a transaction, please email to feedback@bulkbazaar.sg.
7. Members are responsible to ensure all entered orders are correctly reflected on Bulkbazaar. Only paid orders are regarded as confirmed orders.
8. Violations of these policies may result in member's account suspension.
